PLATFORM:
Continuous Development: Personal and Professional Development doesn’t stop at the end of the Associate Training Process. Even as staff members, we must continue to build upon our abilities as leaders and as service-oriented members of the community. I will promote personal and professional development among all members of Silver Wings. Through the promotion of workshops, the personal development of the members into effective leaders and the professional development of members into professional business people and AF officers will be greatly enhanced.
Open Communications: A key component to any organization, communication can either make or break Silver Wings. This is even more important in light of the fact that we are a national organization. As such, resources including e-mail, fax, telephone and mail will be made available so that every level of Silver Wings can send and receive information to National Staff.
Clear Goals: Before we get somewhere, we must first know where we are going. Clear goals, from service hours to packet deadlines, will be passed down early on.
Joint Relations: Our organization is fortunate enough to be associated with other groups such as AAS, AFA, and AFROTC. Building upon these relations will improve both the effectiveness of Silver Wings, as well as what our members get out of their participation. I will ensure that the staff communicates with a 48-hour suspense and interacts with our fellow organizations in a constructive manner to strengthen the joint relations. I will make sure that the Joint National Project is effectively completed by both organizations together.
