PLATFORM:
National Communications/Relations: In order for staffs to be as effective as possible, all communications must adhere to a time limit. Quicker communication will help Silver Wings organize into a solid national organization that is able to coordinate activities and exchange ideas efficiently. Therefore, a 48-hour suspense will be enforced for all communications to and from the national staff. Also, to improve relations, contact between incoming chapters and veteran chapters, as well as contact between Silver Wings, Arnold Air Society, and the Air Force Association, will be made at least weekly.
Storage of Records: In order for Silver Wings to meet its full potential, communications and ideas between positions on different levels must be standardized. A collection of past continuities and contact information that is readily available for access will help facilitate this goal. All chapter, region, and national positions will be strongly encouraged to upgrade their continuities to an electronic format so that information can be sent quickly.
Improving Communications: More frequent updates will be given, as well as more diverse forms of communications that integrate as many available technologies as possible, including cell phones and instant messaging services. These will be listed for all national staff positions, so that no excuse can be given for not meeting the enforced 48-hour suspense. If voted national staff, our school will make an office for our staff, so that daytime communications can be centralized.
