PLATFORM:
Recognition: I believe a big problem of Silver Wings is recognition. Silver Wings is a well established organization that does enormous amounts of community service that covers the entire nation. With more recognition comes more awareness, which in turn should create more proud members.
My goal in this area is to get the name Silver Wings recognized, not just on a local level, but also on a national level. I want organizations to know they can call on Silver Wings for help. My main goal is to get an article in a national newspaper recognizing Silver Wings for all of the civic involvement across the nation and to show the pride we have in our organization.
Joint Relations: Having the unique experience of being in both Silver Wings and Arnold Air Society, I believe I can help promote the improving joint relations. I have seen how both organizations work and where some improvement could be made. Silver Wings and Arnold Air Society are two organizations with similar missions. By improving relations with AAS and AFA, Silver Wings effectiveness as a civic organization will be greatly improved. It will allow for more recognition and more opportunities to help the community.
