Communications: Communication is key to running a successful organization. It is imperative to always keep open communication throughout Silver Wings and with the AFA and AAS. There are many forms of communication that need to be maintained, including both e-mail and phones. E-mail is an effective tool that will have a 48-hour response suspense. We will also establish a phone number that will be readily available for Silver Wings members to contact the staff. It is important to continue improving the communications of the Silver Wings organization.
Growth of New and Existing Chapters: The Silver Wings organization is growing and expanding. There are new chapters that have enthusiastically joined and old chapters that have become inactive. I would like to support those chapters that are starting new and to encourage existing chapters to continue to grow. Silver Wings is an excellent organization that produces some of the finest leaders in the community, and we are excited to improve what those before have worked so hard to achieve.
Recognition: Silver Wings members are dedicated individuals who need to be recognized for all their hard work. As a national staff, we would like to have SW recognized on both a national and local level through newspapers and announcements. We want to strive to be seen in our local communities, so they know we are here to help. The recognition of SW will also continue the growth, moral, and dedication of members. We are proud of the SW organization and what we stand for, so let’s show that to the nation.
Joint Development: The continuing support of the AFA, AAS, and the Air Force is essential to completing the Silver Wings’ objectives. We also need to continue to support them in their objectives. We are all a tight community with similar objectives, and with the continuing improvement of joint relations, Silver Wings will become a powerful tool to promote civic awareness and to develop professional and personal development.
