PLATFORM:

Recruitment and Recognition: I believe that Silver Wings is a unique organization with the potential to succeed and be recognized at a national level.

Recruitment of new members and retention of old members can be increased through a wider variety of projects and services that define the Silver Wings mission. I will take an assessment of what projects are popular within chapters throughout the nation, spread ideas among chapters, and develop new projects. In order to further promote civic awareness, we can also send school supplies and reach out to the wounded troops. On the community service side, chapters can hold a parent-child Olympics day for the community, tutor at elementary schools, and speak at after-school programs. As for professionalism, the chapters can have speakers come in and talk about leadership, life, or the chapters can sponsor a speaker through fundraising.

Recognition of the Chapters and the organization at a national level can be achieved through further contact with businesses, local and national awareness, charities, and service organizations.

Development Program: I would like to install a basis for the development program involving AAS, fundraising, community service, and planning a formal event, one in which both small and big chapters may apply to train new Associates. If a chapter has 10 or more associates, they will be required to conduct a fundraising activity, community service, and plan a formal event, one of which must be done with AAS candidates. If the chapter has less than 10 associates, they will only be required to complete a fundraising activity and community service, one of which has to be done with AAS candidates. The development program is aimed to further promote the overall Silver Wings mission civic awareness, community service and professional development.
