AFROTC Affairs Committee:
This affairs committee was formed to help improve AFROTC through input solicited by cadets. It has been beneficial in making changes, such as the recent increase in book money and pay in most of your bank accounts. My goal is to get more input from Arnold Air Society as a whole to continue to improve the AFROTC program. I plan to do this through continued interaction with the program and encouragement to all squadrons. AAS forums will make this process easier to manage and can be utilized at squadron, area, and national levels. I highly encourage the use of these forums and the suggestions made will be posted for the entire society to view and give further input. If there are changes you would like to see in AFROTC, this is a great way to go up the chain of command and have your voice heard. It is my hope that we can continue to improve AFROTC and this Affairs Committee.

AAS/SW/AFA Relations:
Continuing to improve our AAS/SW relations is very important. We can benefit from each other through working together to make our organizations better. I will work with the national commander on continually improving these relations and offering ideas on new ways for the two organizations to become more involved with each other. Through improving AAS/SW relations, I’d really like to see more squadrons and chapters being established. I think that this is possible through a small committee that I plan to form. This committee will help members in their area set up these groups and offer assistance to squadrons or chapters who are struggling. I think that this will be very beneficial in building up both AAS and SW. Members of this committee will be from all areas in AAS and SW and will be responsible for offering assistance to struggling or newly forming squadrons and chapters. I think this will be very helpful in opening doors for smaller squadrons, chapters, and future ones alike. In regards to AFA, it is my hope to create new ways for squadrons to become more involved with their local AFA chapters. Offering assistance with squadrons that are struggling with their local AFA chapters will also be one of my top priorities.
