Award Nominations
The amount of work and effort involved in the awards process is still very discouraging. This fact could be resulting in many squadrons not applying for as many awards as they could be or perhaps none at all. Awards are meant to raise morale by rewarding hard work. My platform of reorganization of the award nomination forms into a more efficient process will encourage more squadrons to apply for more awards.
Professionalism
As cadets and future officers in the United States Air Force we need to be constantly developing ourselves professionally. The development shouldn’t stop or even slow down when the candidate process ends. It is important to continue the trend of integrating more types of professional development within the squadrons to better ourselves as cadets and more importantly leaders. As you National Director of Support I will make sure that more programs are available to help your squadron to develop itself to its full potential. Although some of these I will develop myself, I will take input from other such programs from squadrons nationwide and make them available to the whole society.
Greater Communication
There are many AAS squadrons throughout the United States, but communication between the squadrons can be seen as very sparse. In order to improve our society as a whole and increase our efficiency, we must have better connection with the other squadrons in our areas. By working together in collective units we can “force multiply” our society and make greater impacts in our communities. As your DS I will reward those squadrons with the most inter-area service activity hours.
