Unity
Arnold Air Society is a unique student organization in the fact that it is based on the national level. With that in mind, it is easy for our minds to be clouded by the fact that we normally work exclusively with our own squadron and no one else. I want to draw the focus from the squadron level more toward the area level. We need to generate motivation between squadrons in each area, and by working together and competing for the good of the community and the society, we will help morale immensely. From competing for awards on the most JNP hours to the most social hours with other squadrons, unity within this organization must be stronger, and I will work hard to narrow that gap.

JNP
This, as always is the one unifying goal that we strive so hard to work on. JNP hours will continue to be one of our main focuses. With that in mind, through strong communication there will be a constant flow of ideas from squadrons, to the area staff, and to and from national staff, about activities and projects that squadrons are doing throughout the country. The JNP is something that we cannot take for granted. We set this goal to serve, and because we are a national organization, we end up serving most of the United States. This is no small task, and as we’ve seen in the past we are very capable of making a difference. We all started in this society to become better officers and leaders, through service, and I will help create an environment where that is easy to obtain.

Determination
Arnold Air Society has to become a higher priority. We all hear “School first, corps second” which means AAS come third. We should all take extreme pride in the fact that we are in an honorary organization with future USAF officers. The reason for low morale is typically lack of knowledge. We need to become more involved as a society and try to motivate those around us to do the same. College is a busy time in our lives, but we need to make the most out of what we have, and what we have is an awesome opportunity. The opportunity is to serve our schools, our community, and ultimately our nation, while growing stronger as leaders.
