BIOGRAPHY:
Heather is from the small town of Harrisville, WV. She graduated from Ritchie County High School in 2005. She was an avid participant in cross country and track, earning a state championship in cross country in the fall of 2004. Heather spends much of her time involved in outdoor activities including mountain biking, swimming, hiking, running, swimming, skiing, and camping. She spends her summers working as a head lifeguard at a local state park, where she has truly had the opportunity to lead her peers. She also works during the school year as a swim instructor, supervisor, and lifeguard at the university pool. In AAS she was previously the financial manager for her squadron for two years, giving her the opportunity to truly understand what it takes to keep an organization financially sound. AFROTC has been an awesome experience for Heather and she is looking forward to graduating and commissioning in May of 2009.
