Name: Dan Whalen

BIOGRAPHY:
Dan was born in Pittsburgh, Pa but has grown up in Martinsburg, WV. In high school, Dan was the captain of the soccer team, active in rec. league basketball, and hockey. He got his first taste of the Air Force as a member of AFJROTC, where he was the group commander his senior year. He received an AFROTC scholarship and chose to attend West Virginia University to study Aerospace Engineering. He has been very involved in ROTC as he has held several positions including Wing Vice Commander, FTP Sq/CC, and fundraising officer. He joined Scabbard and Blade his freshmen year, and AAS his sophomore year. In his AAS squadron he has been a CTO, a deputy commander twice, and squadron commander. Dan is honored to be where he is now, and would like to thank everyone that has been a part of this awesome experience. He looks forward to meeting as many AAS members as possible, and looks forward to seeing everyone at FIESTACON!!!
