What is the Joint Alumni Association?
The JAA is an alumni association dedicated to fostering a growing loyalty and kinship with all
past and present members of the national organizations:Arnold Air Society,Angel Flight,and
Silver Wings.
Why Join JAA?
The JAA is a great way to stay connected with the friends you have made throughout your
years as an Arnold Air Society,Angel Flight,Silver Wings member. It is also a great way to
stay involved with AAS/AnF/SW after you graduate so that you can provide mentorship and
networking to up and coming members. You can also request contact information from previous
members of your school,detachment,squadron or chapter.
We have a new contact form on the website to allow you to reach out to alumni of Arnold Air Society,Silver Wings,and Angel Flight! You can use this form to find alumni in your area,talk with alumni who is in a career field of interest to you,ask for advice from alumni who held your position,find alumni who are at a particular base,etc. Your request gets sent to the JAA and they will find a member who matches what you are looking for. The Arnold Air Society,Angel Flight,and Silver Wings Joint Alumni Association is to foster a spirit of loyalty and kinship among former AAS/AnF/SW members and to achieve unity of purpose and action in promoting the best interests of the Joint Alumni Association.
–Objectives–
- To provide an avenue for members of Arnold Air Society,Angel Flight,and Silver Wings in good standing to continue their affiliation past graduation.
- To provide a medium of communication between the National Organizations and Alumni.
- To contribute in as many ways as possible to the welfare and prestige of Arnold Air Society and Silver Wings.
- To foster continuing relationships among Alumni and current members.
- To promote and assist the activities of the National Organizations in accordance with their ideals and traditions.
- To keep the Alumni informed of the work of the National Organizations.
- To provide professional,organizational,and financial assistance to Arnold Air Society and Silver Wings through activities deemed appropriate by the Joint Alumni Association.
