Captain Brian Tripp

Captain Brian Tripp is Officer in Charge,HC-130P Plans and Exercises Long Range Plans Division,71st Rescue "Captain Brian TrippSquadron at Moody Air Force Base,Georgia. His planning and coordination ensures that twelve combat deployable crews and ten combat aircraft are employable around the world to support combat operations and continue to lead the way in Personnel Recovery operations.

Captain Tripp,a native of Tallahassee,Florida,was commissioned from R.O.T.C. Detachment 012,University of Alabama at Birmingham. He was awarded his wings in 2006 after completing Joint Specialized Undergraduate Pilot Training and currently serves as a combat mission ready pilot in the “Combat King” HC-130. He has expertise in helicopter air refueling,Pararescue deployment,austere airfield operations and all of the many aspects of Personnel Recovery.

Captain Tripp is a pilot with more than 1000 hours in the T-6,T-44,C-130E,and the HC-130P/N.
