Regan Lyon is currently a medical student at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS) in Bethesda, Maryland. She will graduate in May 2010 with a MD and begin her residency program shortly after. Regan graduated from Texas A&M University in May 2006 with a Biomedical Science Degree before attending USUHS.
Regan became involved in Silver Wings in December of 2002 when the AAS Commander from the Detachment approached her to be his “assistant” while working on this “conference”. Not well-versed in AAS/SW at the time, she had no clue she was volunteered to be on NATCON Staff as an Associate Member of the 2d Lt Lloyd H. Hughes Chapter. Sometime between that point and the end of NASACON 2003, she became the NATCOP. The next year she became the CSCOP for her Chapter and Squadron, followed by ARCOP, and finally NCOP her senior year. During her tenure as NCOP she attended 9 ARCONs, all of which she helped with the planning/coordination in some shape or form.
As a National Administrative Consultant, Ms. Lyon primarily handles protocol questions or problems and is an advisor for ARCON Planning, the NCOP, and the NATCOP. She also develops Workshops for Professionalism, Leadership, and Development.
